Registration for trials has now closed

THE CUT OFF DATE FOR REGISTERING FOR TRIALS FOR THE 2025/26 SEASON WAS 12 NOON ON SUNDAY 8TH JUNE 2025.

WE CAN NOT ACCEPT LATE REGISTRATIONS. DUE TO STAFFING LEVELS AND ELIGIBILITY CHECKS WE WILL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, ACCEPT ANYONE TURNING UP TO A TRIAL WHO HAS NOT PRE-REGISTERED.

We are looking for talented youngsters for our county representative teams for the 2025/26 season. Please note:

◦ Players must be in full time education at a DfE registered institution within Warwickshire to be eligible to play for us.

◦ Players, think of this as similar to an England call up – making it onto the squad is a huge achievement but this is not grassroots football, so there is no guaranteed playing time.

◦ There is no cost to play representative football but you may be asked for voluntary donations (£2-£5) to help cover the pitch hire of training sessions.

◦ As this is schools’ football, if you make it through to consideration for squad selection, your school will be contacted to confirm they have no concerns with you representing them.

◦ If you are currently signed with an academy please check their release policy for county matches before registering for county trials – it would be unfair to take a squad spot with us if your academy won’t actually let you play.

◦ County representation is a privilege and you will be expected to prioritise matches over school or club football / other sporting commitments.

◦ Current county players that are eligible to play for us in the 2025/26 season still need to register but may only need to attend the callback session.

◦ Due to the number of participants at each trial, individual feedback will not be given.

◦ Once trials are held and the strength of each potential squad is reviewed, we may decide not to proceed with some age groups – this is purely down to funding. It costs approx. £1,500 to run one team for a season and we are actively seeking sponsorship to ensure we can offer as many players as possible the chance to play representative football. Trial will be held on late afternoon / evenings as follows:

BOYS U14 (Yrs 8 & 9) – 1st trial Tuesday 10th June 2025 and Tuesday 17th June 2025. Callbacks Tuesday 8th July 2025.

BOYS U15 (Yr 10) – 1st trial Thursday 19th June 2025. Callbacks Thursday 26th June 2025.

BOYS U16 (Yr 11) – 1st trial Wednesday 18th June 2025. Callbacks Wednesday 25th June 2025.

GIRLS U14 (Yrs 8 & 9) – 1st trial Thursday 12th June 2025. Callbacks Wednesday 25th June 2025.

GIRLS U16 (Yrs 10 & 11) – 1st trial Thursday 12th June 2025. Callbacks Thursday 26th June 2025.

Full trial details will be emailed to you after your registration has been checked – please note we are all volunteers with full time jobs so it may take us up to 48 hours to reply, if you have not heard, please email [email protected] to chase. We aim to email the outcome of 1st trials within three days*, you will hear either way. Final squad selection emails will be sent by 5pm on Sunday 29th June 2025.

* with the exception of the U14 Boys where squad selection emails will be sent by 11th July 2025.
